The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Health Visits MNTRH.

The National Assembly Departmental Committee on Health visited Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital (MNTRH) as part of its oversight role to assess healthcare service delivery and ongoing infrastructure projects.
The committee was received by the hospital management, led by the Chair Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer, Head of Administration, Head of Clinical Services, and other hospital staff. They provided an overview of the hospital’s operations and recent achievements in advancing mental health services.
The delegation toured the hospital wards to observe the quality of patient care and interacted with staff on the ground. They also visited ongoing infrastructure development projects aimed at expanding capacity and improving service delivery.
Committee members commended the hospital’s efforts and pledged continued support to enhance mental healthcare services across the country.
